Altitude Grown: Kona ‘Volcanic Estate’ coffee is grown on these slopes between 800 and 2,500 feet in the rich volcanic soils. With the perfect mixture of sunlight, shade, rain, and humidity, this high-grown Arabica produces exceptional coffee.
Processing: The coffee beans go through the wet process, pulping, fermentation, washing, drying, hulling, sorting and grading.
Coffee Producer: Kama’aina (local) families own most of the local coffee farms and have had them for generations.
Varietals: Kona coffee is the market name for coffee (Coffea Arabica) cultivated on the slopes of Mauna Loa in the Kona districts of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is one of the most expensive coffees in the world.
